Rules for Application
|
Your website must be related to the firearms industry in
some way. Any websites
that do not meet this requirement will be deleted. We review sites
for appropriate content before approving the listing. Multiple sites can posted, as you like as long as you are the owner
of each. Please do not post multiple
pages or sub-directories within your site, try to post the most relevant
page. Sites containing pornographic and/or offensive materials or referencing
such materials will be deleted immediately. Cheating and Spam will not
be tolerated, IP's are logged to prevent cheating.
- This site is monitored regularly and spam offenders will be removed
from the list permanently as will anti-gun sites.
- We reserve all rights to add or delete sites at our sole discretion.
- The Link Code/Icon you received when signing up must be placed
on your website within 3 days of you joining our board. After 3 days, your
site will be removed from our boards without notice. We will review
your site before approving it. To be brief, the link code, and the
icon in generates must be on your home page. In other words, if we
don't see it when we hit your site, then as far as we are concerned, its
not there. Remember you aren't going to get hits if that page is not
tracking your incoming and outgoing hits. "Links" pages are
unacceptable. Our code must be visible for you to use our site.
- The Link Code can only be placed on web pages. Placing it within
emails is not allowed. It is recommended to place the banner near the top
of your page to increase the likelihood of it being activated. This will
significantly increase your ranking since the banner is used to count the
number of unique visitors to your site. If you do not use the Link, you
will not score on our site. Falsely generating unique hits to your site in
order to improve your ranking on a board is considered cheating and will
result in your site being removed. If you intend on doing this, please do
not use our service.
- Do not put the Link on websites other than the one you registered. A
good idea is to place the banner on more than one page on your registered
website. For example, if your website has a bulletin board which many of
your visitors surf to directly, bypassing your homepage, you would
probably want to place a banner there. Our service will count each visitor
to your site only once even though they visited both pages.
- Do not attempt to hide the Icon by modifying the code or hiding it by
any other means.
